Twist-Front V-Neck Mini Dress

The twist sits right at the centre of the bust, gathers the fabric in, and lets the skirt fall away from it. That one detail is doing all the work: it shapes the top half and keeps the bottom half loose. Deep V neckline, no sleeves, above the knee.

Good to know

• The neckline is deep. It sits low enough that a regular bra will show. A plunge style or stick-on cups solve it.
• It is fitted on top and loose below. The empire seam skims the stomach instead of clinging to it, which is why this cut suits most bodies.
• It is a short dress. It lands above the knee. If you want it longer, this is not the one.
• The knit has give but not much. Micro-stretch only, so go by the bust measurement rather than hoping it will stretch.
• Machine wash cold, hang to dry. Do not dry clean it, the maker is specific about that.
